SURIE POLEX, established in 1985, manufactures Grinding & Polishing Abrasives, Machines and Accessories for floor, slab & tile polishing of marble, granite, slate, sandstone, ceramics, terrazzo (mosaic) etc. Surie Polex is India's largest manufacturer of Abrasives for the Construction Industry.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

SURIE POLEX is not dependent for technology on any outside agency. Our technology has been fully developed by the proprietor Mr. Aaloke Surie, a Mechanical Engineer from IIT-Mumbai, with a post-graduate degree in machine tools from Aachen University of Germany.

We have thus been able to systematically grow substantially in production terms every year. With each increase we have been able to absorb all inflationary cost increases by improvement of process, productivity and reducing overheads per unit of production.

SURIE POLEX has over 80 dedicated distributors and ~ 3500 dealers all over India. Our competitively priced high quality products sold at low margins by our dedicated distributors are continuously expanding the market. We are looking for collaborations to market allied products like Power Tools, Diamond Tools etc.
PRODUCT - SURIE POLEX ABRASIVES

The polishing process follows an eight-step procedure from grinding to honing to gloss. Our abrasives have been developed for marble, granite, kotah, sandstone, slate, mosaic, other natural stones and ceramic tiles. Abrasives are manufactured to international fitting specifications as follows:
  • CRB,S,K (Chamfering) for Hand Polisher
  • F (Frankfurt) for Floor /Slab /Tile Polishing
  • B (Butterfly/Munich) for Tread Polishing
  • T (Triangle) for floor polishing
  • CS (Casani) for Floor Polishing
  • R1 (Fickert) for Floor, Slab & Tile Polishing
  • HB (Hand Block) for Manual Polishing

PRODUCT - SURIE POLEX FINISHING ABRASIVES

  • 5X -These abrasives are specially designed to give the “wet” look for Marble, Terrazzo, Limestone & Mosaic
  • 6M - A buffing abrasive is to be used on marble after 5X to enhance clarity. On natural stones, which do not contain limestone it is used directly.
  • 6G - These abrasives impart the wet look on Granite and Hard Marble varieties like Majoli, Katni etc. This abrasive is manufactured in Fickert and Chamfering shapes only.
PRODUCT - SURIE POLEX FLOOR/ SLAB POLISHING MACHINES

SURIE POLEX manufactures a range of Polishing Machines. All motors are 1440 rpm, 1/3 phase, 220/440 V, 50 c/s.:

  • Granite Floor Polisher - The only one of its kind in the world, this machine is suitable for floor grinding, polishing, maintenance, etc. of granite floors. Its 4hp heavy-duty motor meets the most demanding requirements of any of the above operations. This machine obviates the need for diamond grinding stones (which are expensive) and does the job at one-fourth of the cost with conventional abrasives.
  • Marble Floor Polisher - This machine is suitable for floor grinding, polishing, maintenance of marble, terrazzo etc. The machine has adequate self-weight for all grinding, polishing and buffing applications.
  • Tread Polisher - This is the only machine available in the world which is specially designed to grind, polish and maintain natural stone treads, platforms, landings etc.
  • Hand Polisher- This machine is suitable for polishing vertical walls, skirtings, corners, edges etc. It weighs less than 2 Kg making it ideal for the above purposes.
  • Slab Polisher - This machine is suitable for Slab polishing of Marble and Granite of size 10' X 6'
